Restless legs. How can something so innocent sounding cause such distress. It wakes us up. It catches us just as we drop off to sleep. It dances its’ jig all night to a tune we cannot hear or enjoy.
So far as I am aware, modern medicine has no pill for this particular ill. So why not try this – like most of my videos they all contain things to try that are cost virtually nothing. Just the willingness to try something a bit different.
I will say that all twitches involve the nervous system. And night time twitches might be due to your nervous system working overtime – are you doing a lot of thinking, or rather, over thinking? Studying? Lots of sitting down with no regular breaks and stretches? Getting up and stretching is easy to do. The nervous system is supported by magnesium. Some people report a magnesium rich cream rubbed on the legs at night can help. As can magnesium supplements.
The nervous system generates electrical energy. Every thought sends a `ping’ of a charge. Every cell has a north and a south polarity. Like all electricity it needs to ground out of us. So like an electrical cable that has come unplugged it could be sending our legs into a merry jig.
So, take a stainless steel spoon. Not all spoons are created equal so grab a fridge magnet and if it sticks to the spoon you are good to go. (Confession – I have no idea how this works, it just does so keep an open mind). And follow the video! Best of luck.
